ABOUT

LeadershipAmalogo.gif

It is the mission of Leadership Amarillo & Canyon to strengthen our community by providing leadership development.  Since 1981,  Leadership Amarillo & Canyon has educated and developed leaders.  Our program (August-May) is designed to introduce leadership development, networking, community awareness and  social consciousness to individuals who desire to make a difference in their community.  Participants meet one day a month to experience a variety of businesses, industries, networking opportunities, and interactions with civic, business and non-profit leadership.

Leadership Amarillo & Canyon will engage your thinking on current political and social issues, and expose you to many of the challenges facing our community.  Through partnerships with many organizations, participants are involved in understanding the workings of government, the variety of business in the area, issues facing individuals in poverty, and the wonderful cultural diversity that is evident in our community.  This powerful program will challenge the way you think about your community, your business and yourself.
