Robert Malcom Bio
Robert Malcom started Higher Power Electrical, LLC from his home in 2012 with a desire to give opportunities to people who needed a second chance while building a network of professional relationships and providing service customers could feel good about.   Robert’s goal was to do business with honesty and integrity and build on opportunities through enriching relationships.  From a small beginning six years ago that included employing a retired rancher and two men from a half-way house working residential electrical, Robert has paved the path to a multi-million-dollar company, employing close to 500 employees and serving Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico.  And, Higher Power Electrical boasts one of the top safety records in the nation.  Through his leadership skills, positive attitude and tenacity to do what’s right, Robert has successfully attained his goal of expanding his relationship-based vision into other markets.

Teen Leadership Amarillo and Canyon, or TLAC, is dedicated to strengthening the local community by enhancing sophomore, junior, and senior high school students’ skills to better enable them to become future civic, corporate, and political leaders. Through TLAC students can realize their capacity to effect positive change in our community. They also discover common interests and goals while learning to appreciate diverse personalities, talents, and values. West Texas A&M University college trainers facilitate sessions, along with hands-on activities and field trips to area businesses and service organizations.
